Speedwest is putting together the very
best of the history of Western Australian circuit racing by bringing together as many
images from our rich and colourful history in one place. We have a passion for
our motor sport history, and want to build a definitive resource containing
as many images and stories as possible.
We seek old black and white or colour photos (in any condition),
slides, movie footage, magazines, articles and programmes so we can scan or convert these to a modern
digital format and display them at Speedwest.
We believe far too many images are getting lost
or thrown away as the years pass, and want to preserve our history before
much of it is lost forever. Images and movies are made to be looked at
and shared, and Speedwest not only wants to house these memories
for all to share, but wants also to convert these images and movies
into a format which will better stand the rigours of time.
If you have, or know of someone who has

old Western Australian motorsport photos, slides, movies, magazines, articles or programmes
please consider letting Speedwest know about these so we can begin to preserve them for
the future.
Speedwest will be happy to collect these, or arrange for their delivery to us
at no cost to you, and undertakes to treat all memorabilia with the utmost care and respect. You will
receive all items back in the same condition they left you in, and you will also receive a disk (or disks)
containing the digitally enhanced and stablised versions of the media for you to keep. Images or movies
hosted at Speedwest will bear recognition of copyright and/or your ownership and contribution.
